Hardship: Zamfara monarch urges subjects to assist one another

The Emir of Moriki in Zamfara state, Alhaji Bashir Isma’il Muhammad Ari, Monday called on the people of Moriki to be more united and help one another, especially at this critical time of economic hardship and insecurity affecting the country.

He made the call while delivering his Sallah message to his subjects at the Eid praying ground, Moriki.

He admonished that it is now imperative for people to inculcate the culture of assisting one another, especially the less privileged among them as this would further spread love and peace among the society.

Alhaji Bashir Isma’il Muhammad Ari stated the need for continued prayers for the state and the country in general for peace and tranquility.

The emir thanked the people of Moriki for their support and discipline and also urged them to be law abiding and respectful to the constituted authorities.

Meanwhile, the emir has called on the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in the country to reduce transport fares.

He observed that since after the fare escalated when the price of petrol was hiked, they didn’t reduce the fare after the price was reduced.

“This further deteriorated the hardship faced by the people,” he said.

He stated the need for them to reduce the transport fare since the PMS has been reduced.
