PSG ready to break the world record for Lamine Yamal

The French champion could pay €250 million for the youngster

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is reportedly ready to make a historic move for Barcelona’s young midfielder Lamine Yamal, as per reports from “Mundo Deportivo.”

PSG is prepared to offer an unprecedented €250 million for the 16-year-old, a fee that would surpass the current world transfer record held by Neymar’s €222 million move from Barcelona to PSG in 2017. Despite the substantial offer, Barcelona is currently unwilling to part with Yamal, but if the player also shows interest in a deal, then the Catalan club might change its mind, especially because such amount could fix their financial problems that have been ongoing for several years.

Yamal has already made a significant impact at Barcelona, having played 50 matches last season across all competitions, scoring 7 goals and providing 10 assists. His performances have also been notable on the international stage, with one assist in three matches for the Spanish national team at Euro 2024.
