Yobe: Centre launches 4-year MSO strategic plan for 2024-2028
The Center for child care and Human Development (C3HD) with the support from UN Women funded by women peace and humanitarian funds, Saturday, launched Muslim Sisters Organisation (MSO) strategic plan for the 2024-2028 in Yobe state.
Speaking during the launching of the MSO strategic plan in Damaturu, the Executive Director of C3HD, Dr. Mujibullah Abdu Dahiru, said the strategic plan has a live spam of four years.
He stated that the theme for the strategic plan is “A strategy of empowering communities improve resilience: A path to sustainable development”.
He stated that, “This strategic plan is going to support us as a roadmap to ensure that we achieve the sustainable development goals. It will also build community resilience, we plan to continue to sustain the operation. We are doing this in Yobe and expanding our operation into neighboring states.”
In her remarks, the Executive Director, MSO, Yobe state, Magajiya Mohammed Chellumi, revealed that the strategic plan for four years has been developed under the auspices of the peer learning project between MSO and C3HD, with the support from UN women founded by women peace and humanitarian funds.
She added that the MSO strategic plan outlines a comprehensive approach towards empowering vulnerable women and children in Yobe state through enhanced access to education, healthcare, livelihood and protection.
