“My mind hasn’t been in the right place for a relationship” – Rapper Ice Prince set the record straight on his love life, denies Moet Abebe’s claim (Video)

Nigerian rapper Ice Prince has denied being in a 12 years relationship with media personality, Moet Abebe.

Kemi Filani reported last week that Moet Abebe had left many baffled as she revealed that the rapper is her boyfriend and they have been dating for 12 years and counting.

However, in an interview with Almera Danjuma on The DateBizz, Ice Prince denied being in any relationship as he stated that he isn’t in the right frame of mind. He revealed that though he is the lover boy and falls in love deeply, it has been hard finding love.

The rapper admitted that his mind hasn’t been in the right place for a relationship and as such, he doesn’t want to be a burden or cause distress to any woman. He noted how his album has also being taking much of his time and added that relationships are a financial burden.

“I am a lover boy and I fall in love so deep. But recently, it has been difficult for me to find love, not because I don’t want to, but I am at a different place in my life. You know I just released my album, and I don’t want to blame this on work but my mind hasn’t been in the right place for a relationship. And I don’t want a girl to be with me and be crying.

I need time to put things together, especially my music and finances. I am not in a place to have a relationship yet, because that is also a financial burden”.

Reacting to his statement, many noted how Most Abebe was only being sarcastic and catching cruise.

One Sweetylyx Official wrote, “Moet was obviously joking when she said she was in a relationship with him for 12 years, take a joke y’all

Some years back, Ice Prince had revealed he was scared of falling in love again, because of the trauma he had been through with women and relationships.

Recall that the rapper once dated singer, Eva Alordiah who was his first girlfriend when he moved to Lagos in 2009. Things didn’t work out, he moved on to Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson but they broke up due to busy schedules.

It seems he had a thing for girls named Yvonne as he dated the fashion designer, Yvonne Nwosu but the relationship was short-lived. Ice Prince was also romantically linked to a French-Ghanaian lady, Maima in 2014. Sadly, they eventually went their separate ways when rumours about Maima seeing other men broke out.
