The People of Isanlu Isin community in Isin local government area of Kwara state have appealed to the state governor, Mallam AbdulRahaman AbdulRasaq, to fix the community’s long-abandoned Oke Onigbin-Isanlu Isin road.
The community said the road which had been abandoned for years ,had cut the people off from other neighbourhoods while the general hospital serving the needs of the people of Isin local government is also in dilapidated condition and making access to health services dificult.
In a Save our Soul (SoS) letter addressed to the governor and made available to Blueprint in Ilorin Monday, the community appeaeld to the governor to forgive any perceived wrong doing and honour the promise he made six years ago that he will fix all abandoned projects.
The letter was jointly signed by Chief Joshua Olabisi Oloyede , Asiwaju of Isinland in Diaspora, United Kingdom (UK ) and Engr Dapo Owolabi, of the United States of America (USA)onbehald of the Isanlu Isin in diaspora.
